By providing ready access to fresh water and a diet to maintain full health & vigour.
2. Freedom from thermal and physical discomfort.
By providing a suitable environment, including shelter and a comfortable resting place.
3. Freedom from Pain, injury & disease.
By prevention (ie vaccinations), or rapid diagnosis and treatment.
4. Freedom from fear and distress.
By ensuring conditions which avoid mental suffering.
5. Freedom to express normal behaviour.
By providing sufficient space, proper facilities and the company of their own kind. |
